With Engineers with a minimum of 15 years experience, and each Engineer carrying a minimum of £30k worth of the latest detection technology, we consider ourselves the leaders in domestic leakage detection.

Unique Process

When looking for internal leaks, we follow our own unique process, where we pinpoint leaks using a minimum of three procedures as opposed to walking away after finding it with one procedure. Our process is as follows:

1. Undertake a thermal imaging survey in order to locate the hot pipe work and any possible heat pools.
2. Locate pipe work with electro-location if on a cold system
3. Undertake an initial acoustic survey to listen for leak noise
4. Undertake a Ground Microphone survey along the line of the pipes
5. Obtain damp and moisture content levels along the line of the pipe work
6. Undertake correlation surveys along the pipe work in order to electronically test the pipes
7. If we are unable to pinpoint the leak using the above techniques, we will utilise the Gas Insertion method, where gas is inserted into the system, and detected at the point where it is escaping from the pipe.

At the end of the survey, we will produce a very detailed report if required, including all thermal images, details of the survey, and our recommendations for the problem rectification.
